June 2008:
Hello again everyone. After several months of coding, I finally finished the redesign of jendea 2 and renamed it Jendea Simitecture 2. :) I have kept all the old jendea2 content and added most of the things that I had made for my own game in between.
So...there is quite a lot of new content, which I will try to go over. There is too much to post every pic, but you'll find new things in many categories.
There are lots of lots both modern and traditional.
Most of the lots are starters! I had to restart my entire game after reformatting my harddrive and buying a new computer.
It was a good thing in the long run, because I ended up making lots of new homes for my simmies under 20K.
(
And...a clean install of windows is so nice and fast.
My game loads in 5 minutes even with the 4 gigs of custom content in my downloads folder - LOL. Of course that might also have something to do with the fact that I had not upgraded my computer in 5 years. :D )
In addition to a bunch of starters, this week, I have also posted two commercial lots - an ice skating rink and a reception place for weddings.
I posted a few new objects too, including the leaning columns that I used to make the "Inversion" starter above and a new bench I made for the reception lot.
I tried my hand at a skin tone and some lipsticks.
The skin tone is for very fit sims and includes all ages. I remade this skin in light, tan, medium, medium-dark and very dark.
Finally, there are new carpets, new siding, recolors of the awesome Maxis stucco, and some new basic painted wall colors with a very light texture and a wall/floor set.
Oh, and some new SC4 regions for creating neighborhoods and a vacation beach home. There, I think that's everything, oh and a few whole sims also. Darn, I'm sure a forgot a few things too.
Oh well, enjoy and happy simming!
Coming up next: Almost finished - a Bridal Boutique to go with the reception lot, cheap vacation homes, some Ikea-type couches, more SC4 terrains that need some tweaking still.
In the Works:
A modern bath set (new meshes), whole sims for the new skin.
