WHERE DO I PUT
DOWNLOADS?
Object downloads should be unzipped to your:
EaGames/TheSims2/Downloads
folder. They may be put into subfolders,
but if you download the same object with a house, it will be automatically
put into your main downloads folder. If you get this kind of duplication,
the object may appear twice, or cause wierd problems with the existing one.
Skins downloads must go in your:
EaGames/TheSims2/Downloads
folder. No subdirectories will work.
WHAT IS CEP?
IMPORTANT: In order for recolors to show in your
game, you NEED to have CEP, the Color Options Enabler. It's very easy to install,
extremely well tested and frankly, everyone who downloads must have it to
see the custom content. Naturally, Il have it too - lol! Much thanks go to

Mod the Sims2 Forum
