| Cheats Press Control-Shift-C in game to bring up the cheat window, type in the cheat. If you want to close the cheat window type exit and press enter. |

Gives your sim family 1000 § |
| motherlode | Gives your sim family 50000 §. |
| aging (on/off) | Turns on and off sims aging |
| moveobjects (on/off) | Turns on and off the constraints put on what objects can be moved and where they can be placed |
| RoofSlopeAngle (15-75) | Makes flatter (15) to taller (75) roofs. Any number between 15 and 75 may be entered. |
| boolprop constrainFloorElevation (false/true) | Eliminates (or reinstates) the restrictions on ground elevation on walls, foundations and some stairs. Makes more interesting buildings. |
| boolprop ShowLotPackageFilename (true/false) | Shows info for the lot package. |

| Put your leftovers in your sims inventory if you don't have time to put them in the fridge. It takes no game time at all. | |
| If you have Seasons and need to build up your career, move your family in and out of a house. The season starts over again at the last day of summer, giving you five days of fall next to build your skills and career. | |
| Decorate a dorm and a room for college before you move your young adult sims into the dorm. You can rearrange furniture, give them comfortable beds, and put computers, hottubs and pooltables right in the dorm before they move in. | |
| When moving, put as much as possible in your sims inventories before you move. Save yourself the depreciation costs. | |
| You can actually make money by having relationship problems - moving a sim out of the house starts the sim over again with 20,000 §. You can then move them back in with their extra money. | |
| You can make money by asking NPCs to move in - they bring their fortunes with them. Then you can have them move out again and live elsewhere in the nieghborhood (so that you can still be friends with them). | |
